Distilled from 95% rye grain to a rich honey color, the bold sprits starts hot with notes of black pepper and cedar, followed by a Smokey finish with notes f leather, tobacco, and a hint of caramel sweetness.

THE DISTILLERY

10 years ago Rodney "Rod: Cegelski, a California surfer, met Hamish "Hammer" Marshall, and aussie jackaroo, spurring a  friendship rooted in an appreciation of quality spirits and the central coast. The two founded Rod & Hammer's Slo Stills to share their passion with friends and family.

Slow Stills 
Great things take time... Our spirited adventure began in 1988 at our brewery, Slo brew, crafting award winning beers for over three decades. in 2012 we distilled and aged our first whiskey, a rye beer mash made in the original garden street copper kettle.

A fire sparked within us to craft exceptional spirits culminating in the establishment of Rod & Hammer's Slo Stills in 2019.

Each of our handcrafted spirits are cut with purified pacific ocean water to capture the soil and essence of the waters that united us. California meets Australia

COCKTAIL 

ROD'S MARGARITA

INGREDIENTS

3/4 OZ LEMON JUICE
3/4 OZ LIME JUICE
3/4 OZ ORANGE JUICE
2 DASHES ORANGE BITTERS
GINGER SLICE
JALAPENO SLICE
3/4 OZ AGAVE NECTAR
1.5 OZ STRAIGHT RYE

GARNISH WITH TAJIN, SALT AND LIME

DIRECTIONS

Muddle ginger and jalapeno into mixing glass
Add juice mix and rye whiskey.
Stir for 30 rotations.
Rim glass with tajin and salt.
Strain over ice and garnish with lime.
