This is crafted with care in the heart of Scotland, bringing you a traditional bourbon heritage meets culinary creativity. It is bold and robust with dominant aromas of white pepper and gun smoke. The palate features caramelized sweets, like toffee malt. This leads to a spicey finish with a warm kick that is worth you while promising you an adventure. 

History
Mossburn Single Malt Scotch Craigellachie Distillery Vintage Casks No. 13 10 Yr is a unique spirit crafted as the thirteenth release as part of Mossburn's Vintage Casks range. Each numbered release will only ever yield a finite number of bottles. Mossburn Distillers & Blenders is a brand new Scotch whisky project owned by Marussia Beverages. The company is headquartered at Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders on the site of the former Jedforest Hotel. It is one of the first new distilleries to be built in the Borders for over 180 years. The first phase of development is construction of the Jedhart Distillery, a small distillery featuring three copper stills, five 5,000 square meter warehouse for pallets and casks and a small caf. The second phase is construction of the Mossburn Distillery and visitor centre, a large production facility with the capacity to produce 25 million litres of spirit per year. There will also be a larger caf and restaurant. Not content with these distilleries, Mossburn is also developing the Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, the second distillery there after Highland Park. Obviously building a whisky distillery and waiting for whisky to come online the spirit has to be aged for at least 3 years before it can even be called whisky is a long term project. So, in the meantime, Mossburn have started the ball rolling by bottling a small collection of single malt whiskies and two blended malts, an Island and Speyside, with bespoke cask bills. The single malt bottlings are Ardmore, Blair Atholl, Craigellachie, Inchgower, Linkwood, Miltonduff and Teaninich.
