A "carbon negative" Vodka that's crafted in San Diego from unsold baked goods takes sustainable Spirit to the next level.

As you know, Vodka can be made from pretty much anything, though it's usually grain, potatoes, or fruit. Whit Rigali and Samuel Chereskin had a unique idea and direction they would take their Misadventure Vodka. It's this crazy idea that would take them on a 4-year wild ride of concocting the perfect Spirit in San Diego. The goal? Creating a Vodka that would revolve around their mantra of "hedonistic sustainability". The catch? Distilling Vodka out of unsold baked goods, transforming food waste into a clean & smooth Spirit. Making the world a better place, one sip at a time!

Right about 2 pounds of baked goods are needed for one bottle of Misadventure Vodka. Distilled 12 times in a custom pot still and carbon filtered more than 180 times, the Vodka is gluten-free and has no additives. It's pure and accessible, yet the 80-proof Spirit does have some character to it. It's a conversation starter and an easy sipper that's great for cocktails, and even better for the environment ― all in one convenient package.
