Booker’s® Bourbon Batch 2016-05, also called Booker’s “Off Your Rocker,” is made up of barrels located in four different rack houses with four different production dates. It is bottled at 129.7 proof and was aged for 6 years, 7 months and 23 days. I selected this batch for its sweet aroma and flavors of vanilla and wood from the white oak barrels that this batch was aged in. The liquid is well balanced with a big, warm finish that lingers for a good while, especially when sipped neat. I know my Dad, Booker Noe, would enjoy sipping this batch on chilly fall evenings or at a tailgate.
